What Customers Say About Clear Skies: A Charming Love Story (Yaoi Novel):

Okay read Okay read very slow to take off and very scattered going from one plot to the nexted that you lose some of the story lines.
There are only a couple of kisses and the main focus seems to be more on the family than the couple. The second negative is not really a negative but a warning. I also loved the glimps into Japanese family life provided by this novel (although that may be like saying that watching "All in the Family" is like getting a glimps of American family life - Yikes). There are a couple of negatives to this book. More like an episode of "Eight is Enough" than what you find in your typical yaio novel. But I enjoyed the heck out of this book and I recommend it. It was very confusing at places and very disjointed. "Clear Skies" really, really reimnded me of the Harlequin Romance novels I used to gobble up in my teens.
I think my favorite was the sister who never actually shows up in the book but is only talked about. This book is not really yaoi but shonen-ai. It really is a sweet, heartwarming story of a couple of orphans who pretty much bulldoze their way into a family. I feel like there was a very good book in there somewhere but either it was poorly written or poorly translated. I just wish you could check this out of the library like I used to do with series romance novels. I grew to love every single character in this novel.
The first is that I found the translation terrible.
